Privacy Notice

This notice explains what personal information Premier Software Solutions collects through this website, why we collect it, and what you can ask us to do with it. It is written to comply with the Protection of Personal Information Act 4 of 2013 (POPIA), which is the privacy law that applies in South Africa.
In short: we only ask for your name, email address and a description of your project. We use it to reply to you. We do not sell it, and we do not add you to a mailing list without asking.
Who we are
Premier Software Solutions is a software studio based in Durban, South Africa, serving clients in South Africa and internationally. For any question about this notice or your information, contact us at premiersoftwaresolutionsza@gmail.com.
What we collect
We collect only the information you choose to give us:

We do not ask for and do not want special personal information — no health data, no biometrics, no financial account numbers, no ID documents.
How the quote form works
When you submit the quote form, the details are sent through EmailJS, a third-party email delivery service, so the enquiry reaches our inbox. EmailJS processes the message on our behalf under our instruction. Your details are not used by EmailJS for its own marketing, and are not sold or shared with advertisers.

Cookies and analytics
This site uses no advertising cookies, no tracking pixels and no cross-site trackers.
There is one optional analytics tool. It is switched off until you press "Allow analytics" in the banner, and your choice is remembered in your browser's local storage so we don't ask again. If you accept, we record coarse events only — which page you viewed, which service you clicked, and whether the form sent successfully. Nothing you type into the quote form is ever sent to analytics. The analytics tool sets no cookies and creates no user identifier.
Two functional values are stored in your browser's local storage, entirely on your device and never transmitted as identifiers: your analytics choice, and the most recent USD/ZAR exchange rate so prices render correctly on repeat visits.
Who we share it with
We share your information only with the service providers strictly needed to deliver what you asked for:
- EmailJS — to deliver your enquiry to our inbox.
- Our web hosting provider — to serve the site and keep it secure.
- Google Fonts and Material Icons — these fonts are fetched from Google's servers when you load a page, which means Google sees your IP address and browser as part of serving the font. No information about you is sent to us through this.
We do not sell, rent or trade your personal information. We will never hand your details to a third party for their own marketing.
How long we keep it
Enquiry details are kept for as long as needed to deal with your project and meet our accounting and tax record-keeping duties — typically no more than five years from the last contact. After that we delete them. Server logs are rotated out by our host within weeks.
Security
The site is served over encrypted HTTPS. The form includes a honeypot field and a rate limit to reduce automated spam. Access to information is limited to the people who need it to answer your enquiry.
Your rights under POPIA
You have the right to:
- Ask us what personal information we hold about you, and get a copy of it.
- Ask us to correct or delete information that is wrong or no longer needed.
- Object to us processing your information.
- Complain to the Information Regulator of South Africa if you believe we've handled your information unlawfully.

If we change how we handle your information, we'll update this page and change the "last updated" date at the top.
